What is freeze drying?

Ageless Flower Preservation specializes in preserving your flowers using a freeze-drying method. Your flowers are preserved using a freeze dry machine that freezes the flowers at sub-zero temperatures and then slowly removes moisture. Flowers are processed to provide near perfect preservation in color, size, shape and longevity.  Good Housekeeping magazine has rated freeze drying as the best preservation method available for your flowers.

How should you care for your flowers before delivery to our facility?

Call for complete care instructions of your wedding bouquet or memorial flowers.  Flowers should be received by the next business day following the event.

For the best possible freeze drying results, flowers should be kept as fresh as possible until they arrive at Ageless Flower Preservation. Keep the flowers in water in a refrigerator, but DO NOT freeze them.

How long will my flowers last?

Under recommended conditions, your flowers should last for years!  Ageless Flower Preservation will only preserve flowers to be encased in a sealed UV protected display case.  This allows your flowers to be protected from humidity, light, heat, dust, and insects.

In addition, you must do your part to take care of your keepsake. It should be displayed away from moisture, heat and direct light. Keepsake care instructions will be provided.

How long will the process take?

The entire freeze dry process can take 3 months or more.  A more definitive timeframe will be communicated at the time you select your display case.
